No Snow Day

I woke up this morning to the dissappointing news that my school district was not closed so needless to say, I didn’t go skiing. In fact I did completely the opposite, I sat in class and did work for all of my teachers that seem to think their class is more important than anything in the world and to miss a minute would be disasatorous. Every teacher had their lecture on how hard the delay was going to make it to get what we needed to get done finished before finals. O well, only 8 more days till the end of first semester. YAY!

Best Ski Resort EVER

Best Ski Resort EVER

Wow what an amazing day.  This morning you could have thought this was going to be a nice day and you could do stuff outside.  Wow how mislead I was.  By 10:00 the sky was dark with clouds.  Around 2:00 I went to an ice cream shop.  It was a little cold but nothing too bad.  By 3:10 it was snowing very hard.  I was so happy I didn’t have to walk home.  The funny thing was that i was going to play tennis after school got out.  I would still play but theres no one to play with and tennis dosen’t work by yourself.  In my opinion, the snow just makes it more fun.  O well, the snow is great for skiing and school might be canceled (maybe someone should knock some sense into my stupid district if it isn’t).  If it is, then I can go skiing.  (Wouldn’t that be awsome.)  Fresh powder.  No one on the slopes cause its tuesday.  No lift lines.  Maybe I could get twenty runs in.  (Ha Ha no way.  First time of the season but its a nice goal).  Probably go to keystone. (Why not,  free parking, great runs, nice warming up place at the top of the mountain.)  If I feel really ambitious, I might try to learn to snowboard.  It is kinda hard tolook cool on skiis unless you doing cool jumps and hard runs but I’ll still be a skiier at heart. (I don’t like to sit down as much as the snowboarders do).  The snow will be great for the mountain even if it may not be as fun down here.

It Snowed, AGAIN

They might cancel school for this

They might cancel school for this

Well it has snowed again but my amazing school district dosen’t seem to care how much ice is on the road so we still have school.  Learning comes before saftey.  I know a few people who had trouble on the ice and snow, even in the school parking lot.  My dad did two 360′s on his way home from work.  Luckily he didn’t end up in the ditch on the side of the road. I almost slipped walking on the side walk. (that could have  been my fall and not from the ice but I can still blame the ice.  Who’s gonna stop me?)  My mom slipped in her car coming out of my friends driveway and thats a four wheel drive.  They should have at least given us a delayed start and give the ice some time to melt.  It was still funny to watch all of the kids come in from outside, covered in snow cuz they just had to go off campus.  O well.  Sucked for them when they got locked out of the school and we wouldn’t let them in.  I like the snow but I hope next time they cancel school or at least give us a delay.  O well.

Merry Christmas

Christmas is fun.  Your family comes home.  You pretend like you like them so they give you cool stuff and then you kick them out of your house.  You have parties with all of your friends, then end up in trouble for letting them do fun stuff. (Usually things end up broken)  Then your parents say you can’t have another party and you go through the cycle again.  At least christmas is better than the summer time.  Yeah you don’t have school but really, what is there to do.  You could have a party every week and see your friends but other than that it can get kinda boring.  School adds value to the weekend because you can do stuff you normally couldn’t do.  Now you’re probably thinking how I went from writing about Christmas to why Christmas time is better than summer.  I have no answer for this magical phenomenan.  O well.  Still Christmas is fun.  Espicially now, the time leading up to break.  You rush to get your grades up to make the grades you want for first semester or you sit around and laugh as other people scramble to prepare for FINALS, the evil plan that the educational system has come up with to make you remember stuff you learned the first week of school.  O well.  You either raise your grade or drop it but life still goes on.  It may be much more miserable but life goes on.  Well my random paragraph is over and you can go do something productive (I probably should instead of writing this thing) but hey it was fun to read and you wasted some tme.  Mission Accomplished.
